Candy Land Themed

Candyland themed birthday for one lucky little girl!
When I had first talked to mom we were deciding on colors...they needed to be cheerful, differnet and to match the whole candy land themed. We matched it to her beautiful linens, the birthday girls candybar and her wardrobe!
A tent/canopy was necessary to keep potential rain out and so a little snag to our original plan... but not to worry!
instead of arches we will do "Swags or Pearls" to match the themed.. we did a canopy swag which attached to each side of the canopy and all meet up with lots of balloons in the middle!
Inside the garage we did more string of pearls to keep the decor matching from the canopy to the garage!

For centerpieces we did topiary flowers with a balloon lollipop attached and a 18" balloon in hot pink to attached. this enhanced the clients own centerpieces..which was no other than "Candy Land Board Game" candy basket and more!


The client had the biggest more elaborate candybar i had seen,, so i thought the cake table needed a small colorful arch to match!


Finally on each canopy post we put a "Topiary Bunch" with flowing colorful ribbon to be more festive!

Overall this party was so colorful and so much fun..we were delighted to be part of it!

Florist spotlight: Un Detalle Floral Design

Un Detalle Floral design is a home based business. Started in my garage 4 years ago as a hobby.   Q: What inspired you to start your floral business?  My mother Inspired me to start my business. My Mothers passion is planting herbs, vegetables fruit trees, roses , succulents and any plant.  She had all her backyard  and every corner inside the house with plants.  Sometimes it seemed we were in between a jungle.  She worked many years in a plant nursery.  She knew each name how to care for each one.  I would go help her on weekends at times.
